Jason Reza Jorjani is a philosopher and faculty member at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is author of Prometheus and Atlas, World State of Emergency, and Lovers of Sophia.

Here he maintains that a true philosopher must develop ideas across the range of philosophical sub-disciplines: ontology, epistemology, ethics, politics, and aesthetics. Philosophers need to address primary questions concerning truth, justice, and beauty — and not lose themselves in linguistic analysis. He adds that neither religious nor political establishments are safe from the questioning of philosophical thought.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is a past vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology; and is the recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that Association for his contributions to the field of human consciousness exploration.
