Dani Caputi is a doctoral candidate in atmospheric science at the University of California, Davis. She is conducting an experiment on psychokinetic influence of atmospheric turbulence.

Here she maintains that in order to properly understand the nature of consciousness, it is essential to distinguish between the self as the subject of experience and the “self” as a constellation of concepts within consciousness. The conversation also covers questions of identity, memory, post-mortem survival, reincarnation, multiple personalities, chaos and turbulence.
