Most recently, he has published Essential Writings on Creation Spirituality. He is founder of the University of Creation Spirituality in California.

Here he distinguishes creation spirituality from theology based on the fall and redemption of humanity. He discusses his early upbringing in Wisconsin and his education in the midwest. He describes the need for both mysticism – saying “yes” to all aspects of life – and prophecy, saying “no” to injustice. He maintains that all truth comes from the holy spirit. He also emphasizes the importance to exploring the depths and avoiding a superficial life.
