He has written biographies of Carl Jung, Aleister Crowley, Rudolf Steiner, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Emanuel Swedenborg, P. D. Ouspensky, and Colin Wilson.

Here he describes the many mystical threads that run through Russian history. He describes the interplay of Slavic and Mongol shamanism with the Orthodox Christian faith.
