The Sensation of TouchwithLinda Tellington-Jones
February 20, 2018
Here she describes how the application of gentle touching can have a healing influence upon humans and animals.
Linda Tellington-Jones is the creator of the Tellington TTouch method. Over 2500 individuals have been trained in this approach and are working throughout the world. She is also author of 21 books about her work with many species of animals.
Here she points out that her approach originated as a result of her exploration of intuition and inner experience. Experiences at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, a center of the human potential movement in the 1970s, were life-changing for her. She also describes in some detail various types of “touches” that can have immediate and profound effects on both animals and humans.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is author of The Roots of Consciousness. He is also a past vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology; and is the recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that Association for his contributions to the field of human consciousness exploration.
