Marla Frees has spent 25 years as a successful television and stage actress. Subsequently she has received training in mediumship, remote viewing, and out of body exploration. She has been a pro bono consultant for law enforcement and investigative agencies. She is author of American Psychic: A Spiritual Journey from the Heartland, to Hollywood, Heaven, and Beyond.
Here she describes a gradual process through which she became aware of communications with the deceased. She describes her work learning from James von Praagh, Lyn Buchanan, Whitley Strieber, Tom Campbell, and others. She points out that her psychic sensitivities were sharpened as the result of traumatic and dangerous experiences, such as a stalking.
